Much of my BTV server is almost six years old and I'm thinking about building a new one. It's been working great, so I haven't really been keeping up with the latest and greatest. For now, I'm only concerned with recording analog cable. Should I keep my old Hauppage 150 & 500, or is there something better now? Anything I should especially try to do (or avoid) in the new system?

Sounds promising. I did find another forum thread mentioning that while viewing Recorded Shows list, you can change upper left box to several view options including folders. Not seeing that on my ver., only see 'By Series' and 'All' I have BTV 4.3.0 Build 3267, likely a 2 yr old or so one right out of the box I bought frm Frys. I've searched around support site looking for way to upgrade...

Best way is for the seller to copy the buyer on the email to snapstream support. Otherwise the buyer can always send an email with their product number to snapstream support to make the sure everything is processed. SS does not allow trading or offers for sale here on the forums, and doing by PM can be dangerous since these forums are for the most part anonymous. Anyone can make an account and is...

Right now it's Cable Modem->Wireless Router->8 Port Switch. The BTV server and one of the Link clients are plugged directly into that switch, along with the HDHR and printer. Another cable run leaves that and goes to another switch into which the second wired Link client and PS3 are plugged. As suggested above, I did get new drivers for the NIC on the BTV server. The replaced ones were ...
