Just a quick question, what is the best way (instead of taking it to a paint shop) to paint the side mirrors, door handles and the B-pillars to match your car color? I've never painted on plastic so not sure how different it is than like a valve cover or some other metal parts.

To those of you with Cusco b-pillar bars, when you drilled to the floor, did you move the mats out of the way, take them out completely, or just drill through them? just looking ofr a nice set of b-pillar badges for my 88 16v, would prefer something cool like 16v , GT , etc... used are fine it is for my daily driver. thanks for your help.

Does anybody have the B-Pillar patch panels handy that they could 'assemble' into the shape they should be in (or if somebody has a solid truck and has the end cap off and can get a shot of how the metal should look). I saw the ones on GMCPauls website - and wondered if anybody had more... Any pix of this area would be helpful. Thanks.

The PO at some point repainted my interior black including the VIN plate on the driver side "B" pillar. I need to find a way to clean it back to original. I don't remember if it has printing on it that would come off with the black paint or if it's all stamped into the plate and won't come off. If anyone has done this before, please post up how/what etc. Even if you haven't done it go ...
So, I know 4-Inch Maf wrapped his a and b pillars (on the outside the trim piece and the little triangle, think that's what they're called) in cf and there's a guy on fourtitude selling some cf wrapped ones. Was wondering what really goes into taking those off and putting them back on? Is it just tape that I can goo gone off, clean the area and put new ones back on? Thanks in advance, might...

Sorry to bring back up thsi thread, being a 5 door, are B and C vinyls available from the dealer, as i wnat vinyl between the rear window and the small windows behind it as well. Im in Reading so that would be my nearest dealer.
