OK girls... I need some advice or just reassurance that this is going to be ok. I'm leaving on Tues to go across the country for a month and a half. My parents place has a playard and I just figure DD will sleep in that. Is this reasonable? It sucks that she's going to have to share a room with us (we're in the middle of sleep training) but I'm going to put a curtain up to separate our ...

I use Virgin Media and Outlook to send and receive emails when at home. I'm currently away with my laptop and am able to use outlook to receive my emails but they won't send. I'm using the accommodations LAN line. I'm assuming that it is not working because I use pop and smtp setting for virgin media. Does this mean I have to use webmail to get and send my emails? Thanks

In the past I've edited on a Mac Pro system with a Sony HVR-M25AU and a 27" Samsung HD TV attached. I used the HDMI output of the HVR-M25 to monitor video from the deck and the Firewire connection as my external output to give me full screen edit monitoring. Nowadays I've abandoned that system to my assistant who does my digitizing and I bought a Mac Pro Quad core as my edit machine....

Thought it might be good if we could share experiences and offer advice and support to each other My hubby has worked away from home for most of our relationship and my pregnancy. We had a good spell of around 2 years with him working at home with a short spell here and there working away, but he has been away again for past 6 months, he is home fortnightly for the weekend. He is an agency...

Thanks for all your answers! I think I'll ask my attorney what the consequences are with regard to stopping payment. I don't know whether to sign a reaffirmation of the debt or not. It's a lot of stress to worry about, especially during the holidays. Thank you for the help.

Do your kids sleep when you are on the go/away from home? Just wondering what you general style regarding naps and bedtimes are. For instance, today we went to the inlaws for Thanksgiving but only after my oldest's nap and before both of the girls bedtimes. My four month old took two 20 minutes naps in the afternoon (in a dark quiet room ...

We have so much to be thankful back in our own safe homes, but we have relatives and friends who are out risking their lives for our safety. Let us remember to thank and appreciate them, for their sacrifice in keeping us safe.

I am trying to access my home PC's uTorrent Web UI from my iPhone whilst away from home. I am behind a router, so I used www.whatismyip.com to get my IP address. When I try to connect with that, 8080 as the port (the default) and my username and password, I get "Error - can't find host. Please check your settings." Any ideas?

I remember when Dance Dance Revolution was the biggest thing in the arcades. House of the Dead, Silent Scope, Time Crisis are a few games I like in the arcades. But in my opinion games with peripherals should stay in the arcades and away from the home console. The NES had some peripherals like the NES Zapper, The Power Pad, The R.O.B., The Laser Scope, The Araknoid Controller (or Vaus), And ...
