Shimon Peres Came to Power Over Rabins Dead Body I met Yitzhak Rabin in the Israeli Parliament in 1982 during Hanukkah. I was able to talk with him briefly and mention I was associated with Ambassador College in Pasadena, California. Avishai Raviv, Eyal, and Yitzhak Rabin Avishai Raviv was an Israeli government agent provocateur (whose code name was Champagne for the bubbles of ...

Avishai Raviv, Eyal, and Yitzhak Rabin Avishai Raviv was an Israeli government agent provocateur (whose code name was "Champagne" for the bubbles of incitement he created to tarnish the right-wing Israelis) who goaded Yigal Amir to assassinate Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin (although this is hotly disputed by investigative reporters like Barry Chamish). Avishai Raviv...

Mark Guiliana grew up in my town. He had the same teachers as me in school...I even got a few drum lessons from him when he was still around. If that weren't the case, I'd still be crazy about Avishai's music, but because someone so close to home is so deeply involved in the music, it REALLY makes an impression on me every time they do a new album, or I can catch them playing somewhere.

two Reviews on The Resurgence of Anti-Semitism: Jews, Israel, and Liberal Opinion (Philosophy and the Global Context) by Bernard Harrison Of course, this wont make a dent on Jezeera and friends, as usual, but it sums up a lot of the arguments that have been presented here over the last months. - Expressed much better than I could. Many Palestinians will bristle at the charge; in Palestine, Zionism is a dirty word. Not many people are comfortable with being called racists. White supremacists and separatists in the United States sometimes argue that their movement is misunderstood. Theirs is a quest to safeguard white culture in the face of a multicultural onslaught. White literature, music, art and soul are ...

A bass player, composer, band/trio leader that I see no one discuss or mention is Avishai Cohen. His music (for example, especially Adama and Continuo albums) have mediterranean and israeli accents that are what attracted me to the sound on Pandora originally. Great entertainder and composer. I hope more folks can sample and enjoy.
