I've tried manually uninstalling KB972222 and then letting automatic updates reinstall and I've left it installed and then let automatic updates install it even though it is listed in Add/Remove Programs as installed. My dad has the Tour and just told me that today he got two different update notifications. Not sure what the first one was but seemed to be a BB update which caused the phone to reboot; and the other was some type of upgrade to BB Messenger (but wasn't to 5.0). Anyone else see this? thanks

It can fixed so it never reboots if you can get into Windows Updates via Group Policy. What version of Vista are you running? EDIT: See synapse 's link for an example of this.
