Hey guys, sometimes, it seems like when the car is warmed up or has been running for a while, when it is changing from 2nd to 3rd gear there's like a delay and then a sudden 'jump' or 'jerk' of the car forwards. What could be causing this problem? 01 VW GOLF GLS 115k clicks Auto Tranny.

I did something ridiculously stupid. I own a 2007 MCS automatic and I went to change the engine oil and I inadvertently drained the automatic transmission. I can not find a dip stick nor a filler tube. The vehicle has 20K miles on it and it has been almost perfect since new. How do you change the fluid? I have a 1999 BMW M3 Convertible with an automatic transmission. It is presently parked in my driveway that has an up-hill incline. here in Italy, 99% of the cars are all equipped with manual transmission, how ever, in your opinion, all this difference? in California when I was 5 years ago, I spent 2 months with my family (Palmdale, Antelope Valley, residence inn), I realized just this ... all the cars we hired were all automatic! It does need a rebuild. 3 spd automatic Heavy Duty transmission fits all small block Fords,260,289,302,351w, 4.6, 5.2 and Cleveland engines!! These are very hard to find..... and normally go for $200.00 just for the core. One piece transmission case, needs a converter. These are the strongest transmissions you can build and put behind your small block!!! ...
