I am using the latest version of Skype 4.6.0.43, but I discovered this on the previous version I was running. I installed the latest version trying to fix it. I recorded an audio recording this morning, no problem. Then I disabled video recording because I was calling someone that had video enabled, and I didn't want to accidentally record the video like I did last time since that reduced the ...

I have the following: a sound blaster x-fi and EMU 0404 usb sound cards. I also use a Line 6 Toneport DI-G (USB sound input), and all with Cubase Studio 4 (32-bit) and Sonar Studio 8 (64-bit) software on Win7 (64-bit). The issue is drivers. I can use the EMU asio driver through the 0404 to minimize recording latency. In XP, I could also use media player with no conflicts. With win7, I cannot ...

I am currently a PC user that is looking to switch to a mac. Over the past year or so I have been debating over an imac and a mac mini. Ever since the announcement 2 months ago, I have essentially decided on a new imac. Now the question is WHICH imac to go with. Obviously I will do all of the normal "stuff" that everyone else will do with their computer (pics, internet, dvds, ...

Forgive me for asking about an older product but I am just getting back into recording. I am on a budget so I purchased M-Audio Fast Track Pro and wanted to use it with my HS 2002 software until I can upgrade. I got the drivers for my version of XP Pro with SP3, verified all my settings, ran the Wave Profiler and all looked great. I got an audio level, it sounds wonderful in the headphones....
