Audacity - Topic profile

When i drag my track i recorded and edited in audacity, the track speed is almost 4 to 6 times faster. Why is this, and how do i make this stop? When i drag it in, i need it to be normal speed. Thanks! b.quain  

Hey there, Okay I'm a windows gone Mac (about 3 months ago)and on windows I used to mix and edit audio via audacity with Line in and now on my mac Audacity works fine except it's line in feature. I would say I'm experienced in the overall technological aspect with Mac. What I simply want to do is record what is playing on my computer with Audacity. Any help? thanks...

I use Audacity for my songs and i have a normal microphone for the computer. When i sing through Audacity, i always have a small delay between my voice and the beat. I actually sing it in the right moment, but when i listen to the final product, the beginning and the end are not correct. In the middle of the song it's perfect, but then again it needs some time in the beginning to be correct and ...

For no reason at all I've noticed, Audacity will just crash. I'm a little puzzled as I switched from PC to Mac thinking that I was getting a great system that never crashes and can handle high intensity programs with ease! I have a brand new 2.4ghz machine with 4 gb of memory, any help will be greatly appreciated....

Doesn't matter, either one will work. I don't recall if there is a separate volume pot for each output. C.
