Hi, If we calculate the flux at a certain distance from a source of radiation by first neglecting the effect of attenuation in air, how does one factor in the effect of air attenuation? Is it impossible to have antialiasing and point attenuation at the same time on Open GL ES? It seems so, because when I add the code for antialiasing glEnable(GL_POINT_SMOOTH); the point attenuation dissapears. Or am I doing something wrong?

I've noticed a marked drop in sync speed in the last couple of days, from around 5.4Mb to barely 4.0Mb (and that's only achievable by reducing the SNR margin even further than normal). DMT shows the downstream attenuation has jumped from 53dB to 57dB and the bottom attenuation graph has markedly altered. Could this be down to some pair swapping by BT? It seems curious that the ...

I am producing a screensaver which simulates the stars in galaxies. The stars are point sprites and the stars which are far away should look smaller than those closer to the viewer. That is why I need point attenuation. I have tried to include everything to get point attenuation to work, but the points still have the same size. Why doesn't the point attenuation have any effect? This is my code:...

Recently I build a room that is roughly 16x24. It was an existing structure, the roof is slightly vaulted and about 10ft at height. The building construction is concrete block, the floor is a wood subfloor floated on u-boats over concrete slab, and a layer of sheetblock inbetween the two layers of plywood. On top of that is a laminate with underlayment. The walls where constructed with ...

I have read numerous posts concerning attenuations and efficiency. So this is not the completely uneducated question. Yet, I am still confused. I completed my 5th all grain recently and have identified a trend that I would like to correct. I hope to have all of the required info/data to get a response, but such may not be the case. I have used recipes found within this site and brewed ...

I think there was a D3 entry that I deleted. Right now all I have entered is D0=0, D1=1, D2=1 Thank you all for your trouble. naplesman@gmail.com

Just joined up to Talk Talk recently. Main reason being our projected speed would be around 14mbs (we live only 0.7 miles from exchange). However we can only manage a max download speed of around 6mbs at best. Looking at my router stats the line attenuation seems very high, 50db, considering distance.
