Hi guys. Just would like to check and compare with other fellow Singnet broadband users on their line quality. Please post out your current noise margin and current attenuation of your connection. Mine is as follows Current noise margin(Down/Up): 9.6dB/9.0dB Current attenuation(Down/Up): 22.0db/8.6dB Also what are the recommended levels for both factors?

I am trying to perform linear attenuation within my shader, there seems to be some problems with the positioning of the lights. Code: Select all void PerPixel_Frag ( float3 normal: TEXCOORD0, float3 LightDir : TEXCOORD1, float3 HalfAngle : TEXCOORD2, float3 FragPos : TEXCOORD3, float2 uv : TEXCOORD4, uniform float4 lightPosition, ...

Hi, If we calculate the flux at a certain distance from a source of radiation by first neglecting the effect of attenuation in air, how does one factor in the effect of air attenuation? I do not know how to apply that theory. I'm am trying to understand what the difference is at sea level or at high elevation. Helping understanding both ...

Is it impossible to have antialiasing and point attenuation at the same time on Open GL ES? It seems so, because when I add the code for antialiasing glEnable(GL_POINT_SMOOTH); the point attenuation dissapears. Or am I doing something wrong?

Now that there are a bunch of XTBM signal meters in the field, I'm getting reports that X10 filters are actually lowering signal levels. While I first thought that maybe this was a measurement error, I did confirm it myself. With the house being driven by the new XTBR repeater, I monitored the signal level on my weakest X10 circuit. Then I connected several different X10 filters to ...

Hi all, i have a critical question. You have a point source (radioactive)..that emits 100 gamma per second. Now if you place a metal or foil (e.g., Al)..will the no. of gamma reduces??? If it reduces how to calculate..based on beer law..(if we know the attenuation coefficient of that metal and the energy of that 100 gamma)..sometimes i get confused with ...

So just got my new refractometer and calibrated it with distiller water at room temp, took a sample from my hefe that's been in my fermentor for about 2 and 1/2 weeks. My og with my hydrometer was 1.062 at 5 gallons, I needed it a little lower so I added a liter of boiled then cooled water and pitched my liter starter. I used white labs 300 and followed mr malty for pitching rate. Went good but ...

Hey Guys I know a little bit about what my router stats mean when it comes to the Noise Margin and Attenuation rate, but can anyone please tell me what the hell this means? http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m...oisemargin. jpg

Trying to workout why my downloads were so slow, I discovered that the ip profile was 1000k. The router reports: Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.0 / 18.5 Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 31.5 / 63.5 SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 7.0 / 6.5 What should I be looking for/ doing? enta net MAX Home Allowance 30 via Vivaciti

Just wondering what the expected speed would be at premises about 500m from the cabinet? The line condition itself is good, as on ADSL I get about 6500kbps sync on a 50dB attenuation. Yo- I made a 5.25 gallon batch American Stout, OG 1.060, That didn't quite ferment to the level of Attenuation desired. It only made it to 1.022, probably because I choose not to make a starter and just pitched a Whitelabs 001 slant directly into the wort. After 3 weeks I tried adding one packet of US-05 but it was unable to trigger more fermenation. it still tastes good, kind of like a sweet ...
