Hello all, i would like to know if atmospheric pressure exists on the surface of water in a completely sealed water tank. So, does atmoshperic pressure exist even on surfaces that are not in contact with the atmosphere, meaning in closed areas above. Thank you.

Hi! I am from Brazil and live on a rather high altitude city in the state of Minas Gerais (aprox. 800m from sea level). From as long as I can remember, I am person with very little energy, and sleepy all the time. Is there any place on Mars that is deep enough to maintain sufficient atmospheric pressure to support human habitation? I think I read once that really deep craters/canyons could be terraformed because they are capable of holding air pressure? The theory also mentioned that life would spread from the floor of the crater eventually to the surface as plant life took hold and surface temps ...
