Hi there. I need to calculate the arc tan value from my Blackberry Java app. Unfortunately, the blackberry 4.2 api doesn't have the Math.atan() function. Heaven knows why, but that's the Blackberry API for you. Version 4.6 of the Blackberry JDE has it, but not 4.2. Does anyone know of a workaround to calculate atan?

one more thing i would like to ask if the slope formed by my ball coordinates & fixed Wall coordinates, forms an angle, my question is that Does flash knows to calculate slope with x-axis in an anti-clockwise manner? because i have calculated the angle & performed my task with Mc1.x*Math.cos(angle) *-1 Mc1.y*Math.sin(angle) *-1 and still not getting that bouncing effect from wall...
