I'm in the market for an '05+ Subaru Legacy or Outback wagon and was wondering if anyone here has driven both, the 2.5L turbo and the 3.0L naturally aspirated motors at high altitudes and on mountain roads? I'll be living at ~4,500 ft and regularly driving mountain roads to 8,000 ft, so the turbo seems to make more sense since power can be more or-less constant**, rather than losing power ...

1986 VW Golf Naturally Aspirated Diesel 5spd Bought a year or two ago, and has sat since then. It was going to be an easy fix up project, but ended up being too much work to ever be worth it. It does still run VERY well. I can start it any and every time. It would make a great engine donor car. Also, everything that needs to go back onto the front end is still there, it just hasn't been put on. ...

Hello, Looking for real numbers here. Normally Aspirated 2.0 ABA with 8V head, what kind of HP/Torque numbers have people gotten and what went into it? Theoretically we should be able to approach 80HP/Liter, so whose getting 160 at the crank?

LS7 at summit racing and Jegs sells for just under $15,000. I was wondering if anyone has put one of these in their trucks? Also, when do you think the price will drop down? I would be cool to have a 505hp small block, natrually aspirated engine, with a warranty.

If i wanted to build a sbc 350 to the max horsepower capable keeping it naturally aspirated, retaining the OE torque converter, and in a daily driven vehicle. What would you think would be the best choice of parts and hp/tq output with the parts? Any builds are welcome to be posted.. Please don't reply "i'd stroke it" or "i'd go with a 400 rather than a 350"..

We just found out tonight. I took her to the vet on Saturday because she'd lost her appetite, and I had noticed some swollen lymph nodes in her neck. He aspirated them and called this evening. DH and I just told the kids, as you can imagine, we are all pretty wrecked right now. I've got the names of two oncologists to try tomorrow, I guess next steps are to find out if its metastasized, and then ...

What is the highest powered modified E39, naturally aspirated? I'm just wondering what the most powerful S62 (in N/A form) has done to it. I searched but only found E60 info.
