So, to me, any arthouse cinema that is worth someone's time is relatively free of cliché. I mean, I've notices some things that Gus Van Sant likes to do a LOT in his movies (and I love every moment of them), but I think...

EW's list of the best 100 books in the last 25 years -sigh(Lets make a reading list!) Maybe its because I don't agree with the list or because I'm alarmed at how many I haven't read. It seems all my favorite books are pre-1983 but still, no Vonnegut? The list can be found here http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,2020...207349,00.h tml...

A spitball made its course through the room and hit Kris in the face. It didn't disturb him from his notebook, he was used to bullsh*t like that. He continued writing, oblivious to the world around him -- only acknowledging his fantasy world. "Hey, retard. What the f*ck are you writing?" John had thrown the spitball, and was a bit annoyed that it didn't effect his target. "Probably some...

When he returned to the United States after the war, he became a coal miner and later died of Black Lung. Jack's family was not wealthy and there were few options for him. As many people do in his ...
