Without thinking about checking the latest instructions on the website of how to apply AS (ie: the single line in the middle between the 4 cores), I went ahead and applied it as I used to on my old AMD 64 CPUs. I have an arctic silver hard top off of my 986s that needs a new home. The top has the black interior/headliner and is in great shape. I would prefer local pick-up, but am willing to entertain shipping if need be. what method should i be using to apply the thermal paste? a line on the cpu, letting the heat sink to spread it, or apply the AS5 to the MEGALHALEM, then mount it and spread, or spread by using my finger in a plastic bag onto the cpu?

also ... selll your wheels and buy a nice set of rims.. $8.00 for spray paint just looks like hub caps from a far. if the cost of new wheels is to high have your custom pained to match the paint code with a polished lip for around $300 or so but i bet you can get $400 for your wheels and find some LTWs or used BBS for about $600
