Why Arbitron ratings are stupid: WKQI-FM (95.5)... Why Arbitron ratings are stupid: WKQI-FM (95.5) (pre-teen pop) 5.4, WWJ-AM (950) (news) 5.3. Competitors? Only if H. Montana goes political. about a year ago

I just got my Arbitron meter. I did it to help the show, but they pay you about $50 a month just to carry this meter around all day. If you get any junk mail from Arbitron, answer it, and try to get the meter. You can help the show and earn a few extra bucks on the side.

No thanks, you already jam the heck out 101.7... The HD only rebroadcasts the main analog signal, so who cares. With the new digital processing that exists the clarity is roughly the same as HD (FM High end has less dynamic range because of preemp, but HD high end sounds like it's going through fan blades. Six of one - half a dozen of another.) Do us all a favor and turn ...

And those are actual numbers, not arbitron rumors because their ISP keeps track of all the unique daily downloads. I'm sure by now their getting even more. Also from what I've heard they got Meijer and...

Considering WTCM-FM has been the market's #1 Arbitron rated station for years on end (with maybe just 2 or 3 books being exceptions), it is not surprising that it would be voted #1. The station deserves its success -- it sounds damn good and rivals country stations in much larger markets in terms of content quality.

Agent Lopez: Miss Steiner, what is your affiliation to GSN City? Jamie: I am the manager of GSN 15. I am also Mayor Katerra's personal friend. Agent Lopez: Miss Circlegirl says that she learned about Hot 95.3's practices from her. Is that true? Jamie: Yes, it is. Agent Lopez: Were you aware that the ratings reports were doctored to make it look like X103.7 was losing listeners...

I'll agree that locally, the Timeless Favorites station doesn't seem to have a lot of advertisers. But when I travel to the Midland area, it's a different scenario. (97.7 FM & 1490 AM) . Plenty o' spots. They run a local morning show that replicates the same format until 9 or 10am and then they re-join the network. They seem to be also filling the optional local breaks with local ads, community...

TO CHOOSE OR NOT TO CHOOSE. The sample artwork for the album cover came within a few days as Larry Harris had promised. Dennis called to let us know he had them and so we gathered together at his house, the six of us, to take a look and make a decision. Although Casablanca Records had the Kiss and Angel on the label, they were primarily known as a disco label having the likes of Donna Summer,...
