I did a search & found nothing, so here it is... I have had 31 x 1050's on for several months, with no issues. When I stopped in my driveway last night, I felt the brake pedal vibrate. I thought I must have stopped on some wet leaves, so I didn't give much thought. Today, the anti locks engage just as I come to a stop, everytime. Hard braking works normal. Thoughts please....

Any other guys here, that sometimes hate your ABS, and other times think they're great? One time I was zipping along on an industrial road marked 45mph. Up at the next intersection, granny makes a quick right turn on red, then drifts over 3 lanes (where I am flying).... I slam on the brakes, could see the collision going to happen..... instead of hard-stopping, the brakes are thumping and ...

I've got a really weird problem I hope someone in the NSX community can help with. When I bring my NSX to a stop the ALB operates and I feel the brake pedal pulsing. That's stopping from walking pace or less on a dry road with the wheels straight, and only at the last second when the wheels come to a stop. There's a pump running every now and again too, presumably the reservoir top-up. When I ...

It could be the Anti-Lock sensors are damaged or dirty or not "seeing" the wheel speed properly. Also, most cars have a secondary brake pump for the Anti-lock brakes, and maybe this is going bad. My old Honda had the Anti-lock brake pump go bad, but nothing happened except for the Anti-lock brake light came on, which meant I didn't have Anti-lock brakes, only regular brakes....

Not bollocks if you've got proper winter tyres on your car which can get a better grip in the ice and work in temperatures below 5degrees. If you just use summer tyres or even a lot of all season tyres, then you will not get good grip in icy conditions and the ABS will struggle to work, because the tyres cannae grip the road surface!!
