Hey...I'm not sure where to ask this, so I decided to ask the people most likely to use these kinds of programs. I want to make animated GIFs, using the original episodes. Like the one in my post. I use a Mac, and I have Avidemux. I have no idea how to do it though. Does anyone know any suggestions on how to do so?

Safari/Webkit slow animated gifs and cpu spike

Whenever I view a site or forum that has animated GIFs posted, safari comes to a crawl and my CPU spikes until i can scroll them off the page. Sometimes it evens gives me a beachball for a few seconds, and im on an octo core mac pro. i did a bit of research and found that this is a bug in webkit that has existed for several years. This bug also effects Google Chrome in the same way ...

Hi, I have noticed that there are animated gifs in some of our AD'ers profiles. but.....I get Any reason why? And how do I upload animations on my profile. Thanks for the help.

I used to use Windows XP, and windows picture viewer, this would let me view my animated gif's, and now due to Development and buying a new computer, which i had to buy Windows Vista, and now i cannot view my Animated Gifs, unless i right click and view it in internet explorer, but this is time consuming, firstly why did they take this option out, and why is it not available in any of your Photo ...

Why is the quality of my animated GIFs so horrible, even when I use GIMP?

The images come out splotchy, as if I converted the jpegs to bitmap then converted them back again. And even when I'm extracting layers out of HD quality videos. Here's an example: srsly, wtf gives? What am I doing wrong? I've seen people make animated GIFs with GIMP that look pretty damned sexy, so I know it can't just be the nature of the program.
