Hello, I am hoping someone out there can help me. I had a LIS two weeks ago and after the first week I had my regular check-up. A sphincteroplasty is where your sphincter muscle is severed and they sew it back together. The infection was a large, hard area all around that side of the muscle. What's a sphincteronomy?

Hi Chiva, I would recommend calling your doctor... my spouse has been going through the healing process of having his anal abscess lanced and he describes the exact dull pain as well. He sits a lot for his job too. His doctor gives him a script for when he's in unbearable pain...
