I just bought a 7 inch starrett miter saw protractor and run into this problem from the git go. I have a outside corner with one side that is long and the other is only 3 inch's long, so the protractor willn't fit around it. Does anyone with this unit have a way to use this protractor this to find the angle of this outside corner? I do have a sliding tee bevel but was hoping this would let me use...

I am trying to figure out how to place a column at an angle (i.e. rotated in elevation or section, NOT in plan). Can anyone point me to a tutorial or explaint to me how this is done? Thanks, George

I have an area on a form where I would like to draw an angle. One arm of the angle would represent the desired heading of a flight line, with the other arm representing the current heading of an aircraft. The purpose of the angle graphic is to provide a pilot with a visual reference with the needed heading change to bring an airplane back to the desired heading. I've written software to ...

I know this should be simple, but it is Pro E. I have created a line that has a shallow anlge ~0.5 degrees. The center line and the angle line do not converge. I know that I should be able to simply create an angluar dimension but it always creates a linear dimension. Any tips on forcing Pro E to create a angluar dimension?? I'm using wildfire 2.0

To get an old exhaust off, for the love of all things sane stop him !! He was almost through the part of the pipe we want off when he got the angle wrong and he cut through my petrol tank !! So for at least an hour I was stood under my car using as many plastic containers as he had at his garage to get all the leaked fuel into. I'd always wondered what 40 litres worth of fuel looked ...

and this morning when I woke up, there was a blister, and it was red and yellowish. I took it out only because it was pierced on an angle, not because it was infected. It didn't look infected, it wasn't warm, nothing was coming out of it beside normal lymph, it was sore, but only because the plate was rubbing my gums raw. I'm now really scared because if there was any chance it was infected, it's...

So, several weeks ago I noticed the little guy started running hot by the time I got home from work. It needed coolant. So that was the wet spot in the driveway that I'd noticed once or twice. I topped off the fluid, and had a mechanic give it a quick lookover. He commented on being able to smell the coolant (my sense of smell ... stinks). His guess was the water pump, but he also said...

By considering the appropriate trigonometric graph, express each part of questions 1 to 3 in terms of an acute angle. 3a) 3b) I'm fine with the ones like sin210, cos420 etc. But how am I supposed to answer the ones like above?

Well, at least it is an interesting angle. The stock was total shit, but you let us buy it. We are total idiots in need of protecting and YOU DIDN'T DO IT. I hope they get their trillions of $. After they do I'll be a billionaire after precedent is set with all the crap I own that is worth 0

Bob, I used a contour gauge to transfer the angle to a larger sheet of paper, then I use a straight edge to extend the lines. I laid the Starrett job site protractor to measure the extended lines then.

( One trick you can use while doing a sketch. Exagerate the angle, sketch it about 15 degrees or so, then change the number to .5 degrees. \(You may still need to change the config option.\) , )
