Checking out a nice Amstrad DRX 550, (latest "flow" model) and found it worked fine on BBC1 London and ITV Central (with no card in at all) but gave message "Insert your Sky Viewing Card" on BBC2 and also Channel 4. Currently I only have Freeview boxes and have just inherited an Amstrad DRX200 Skybox with a digital viewing card. I was wondering if I can still use this box and card and also what other equipment I would need (and possible costs (UK)? I would be grateful for any assistance

In week commencing 16 November I now have trouble in watching Ch4, Ch4+1, More 4, More 4+1 and E4. Seems to be on both Sky + and regular Sky boxes - is this a common thing for Amstrad boxes? The boxes are on their own and not near any DECT phones or Wireless Routers.

Ok, each one of these flops had about two titles on each that were considered playable (AvP, Tempest, SShowdown, Return Fire etc.). Does anyone have any genuine fond memories of these consoles or recall putting some serious game time on the games for them? Which titles?

I have an Amstrad 1512DD in fine working condition, together with a pile of 360KB 5.25" floppy disks containing lots of vintage games, apps and my own age work. I am seeking a way to connect a 5.25" drive to a USB port? Now being a Mac user with no PCs left at home I have no other way of porting my data on a hard disk. Any ideas? Thank you....

Hi - heeeelp Last night sky updated the epg for the new one on my Amstrad HD sky + box - now, no signal, no listings. Set the default transponder to what it was - 11.740 - still no joy any ideas please? (note location)

I'd stick it in the bin, whether it was working or not, simply on the fact that this 'flow design' is the worst looking digibox they have every produced! I'm guessing someone had been watching a 1970s sci-fi film just before they agreed to that design!
