On the subject of what the Bible says about amputation, the SAB uses Deuteronomy 25:11-12 (KJV). The SAB says that a woman's hand must be amputated if she touches a man's genitals, but touching isn't what the scripture is suggesting. The KJV suggests she takes the genitals in her hand. In the struggle to defend her own husband she grabs the genitals of the other man in order to crush them. It...

About 5 days ago, I noticed my rabbit not using one of his rear legs when hopping about the house. I took him to the vet the next day and they did an Xray that showed massive infection starting above the ankle and around the "tibia". They told me it would not be possible to clear all the infection and amputation would have to be done. He's on Baytril and Metacam for two weeks. They will re-check ...

I have a 5 year old, 5.5 lb yorkie, harley who was severly bitten by a much larger dog at a humane society dog walk event. They tried to save the leg and put the bones back together but the damage to the vascular system, muscle tendons and nerves was just to severe and after a week his leg had to be amputated to limit the infection risk to him and make sure he would be ok. He had 24-7 care ...

A friend asked me to post to see if anyone has done any Short Burst Radiation in lieu of amputation for a grey with bone cancer. It is said to be a palliative care (pain relief) and they give longevity of 4-10 months. He is interested in results if anyone has done it. Thanks for anything you can tell me. Back in market for a pup. As some of yall know, over the summer Cash broke his leg and is no longer able to put pressure on it for any amount of time, just to stabilize. I have thought about amputation but can not bring myself to it. Taking a dog like that’s leg would just kill me. Trust me, I have tried everything, even fabricated ...

I haven't seen anything here but our resident non-crazy Ark fan at Nafoom posted something about Dixon getting hurt at the end of the game. Any word on that from Starkville today? I would imagine anything less than full amputation will not sideline Mr. Dixon, but I am curious nonetheless.

A 92-year-old woman with Type II diabetes mellitus has developed cellulitis and gangrene of her left foot. She requires a life-saving amputation but refuses to give consent for the surgery. She has been ambulatory in her nursing home but states that she would be so dependent after surgery that life would not be worth living for her. She has no living relatives; she enjoys walks and gardening. ...

As we'd feared, the infection is bad. The vet thought it smelled "almost like gangrene." The focus now is on saving his leg, although I don?t think I?d consider amputation to be an option at his age (15). We went through that with a dog years ago. It was quite an ordeal for her, but she was a lot younger. And we had a lot more money then. The vet gave him fluids under his skin and a DMSO ...
