My SIL is 21 weeks preggo and started bleeding. She found out that they did the amniocentesis wrong and her amniotic fluid, placenta, and uterus are severly infected. The baby's heartrate is down to 96 and he is not getting the proper things he needs through the umbilical cord because of the infection. Has anyone ever had problems w/ this procedure?

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is doing well. Yesterday, I had my amniocentesis and surprisingly enough, it didnt hurt much! No major cramping afterwards either! They did a sono and THE CYSTIC HYGROMA IS GONE! So so so happy about that. But I have not recieved the outcome of my amnio yet. Maybe monday or tuesday. Hi Some in May said a lady in here had an amniocentesis... My result came back as 1 in 10 so having amnio tomorrow and just wanted to speak to someone about it?? I hope you get this in time. x

Today we have Ryan continuing his vendetta against Annie by plotting to engage a doctor to perform an amniocentesis on Annie and her baby, all so Ryan can somehow prove that this isn't Adam's kid. The logic of this escapes me - It was Annie who supposedly had trouble conceiving, not Adam who had trouble getting women pregnant so there's no reason at all to think this isn't Adam's kid - but logic...

I had my amniocentesis on Wednesday and it wasn't as bad as all the horror stories people had been telling which is a good thing because the test revealed the baby wasn't ready to be delivered on the 11/12 as planned so I have to repeat it again next Wednesday and if all goes well next week I will be delivered on 11/19.
