Someone over on Sturm raised this question; the "American Gun Owners Association" out of Bensalem is a non-profit entity, apparently runs raffles at gun shows "for the benefit of the gun community", raises around $40K annually; I Googled them, I can't find very much about them, and nothing that looks like a benefit to our community. Anybody know anything about them? Where the money goes, ...

Fellow American Gun Owners: I feel it's my duty to share this little tidbit that has gone under the radar, it is our government, OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS, chipping away at our freedoms yet again. All of us who own a gun are going to be rudely surprised come tax time. It seems the Obama administration has slipped in a little known provision in the Tax Code requiring ALL gun owners to pay an ...

I just watched this movie tonight, and I thought it was a bit above average. Nothing spectacular, but it DID make me ponder a few things... The movie's basically preaching about gun rights in America. Should we have them? Should we be allowed to carry them? Are they too dangerous? Do we just need to be more educated about them? You get the point. Linda Cardellini, Forest Whitaker, ...

Saw this post and decided to do some digging. Google search for Robert Lynn Sarp turned up a few things people already mentioned, but I eventually turned up this webpage . It's from the National Center for Charitable Statistics, and has links to 990 tax forms from 2004-2008. It lists total revenues of 42,422 last year with total assets of $14,840. The form is a boring legal document, ...

Many have heard about the historic gun rights case going to the Supreme Court. Fewer have heard that this is also a major case for businesses and family values. It could lead to anything from court-ordered Obamacare to same-sex marriage. This is the biggest case of the year, and everyone has a stake in it. On March 2, the Supreme Court will hear arguments in McDonald v. City of Chicago. It... ...
