Ambient lighting - Topic profile

Hi everyone, this is my first posting on the Forum! I've just acquired a 2007 (07 Reg) 2.0 Tdi SE Estate and according to all the information I've read it suggests this model has "Ambient Lighting"? I can't see anything on the interior like this, it just seems to have the normal red and blue panel lighting. Can anyone please advise? Cheers.

Do we get the red ambient lighting from the centre roof console that shines down on the transmission like the Americans do?

hi i just built a screen and bought rope lighting to go behind it to get some ambient lighting. a friend of mine has a plug for lighting on his onkyo receiver, but my sony receiver doesn't. I have a harmony 550 remote and was hoping if anyone knew what i need to get so i can have the lighting controlled by my remote other than having to plug it in everytime.

Wonder why the Ambient lighting video's were pulled? Did I miss why they are no longer up? I know a few sites still show them, but the main Chevy one is gone (and possibly a thread?)

This is just a curiousity question. The Premium Trim Package is supposed to include something called Ambient LED interior lighting in door pockets and other areas. Has anyone with this package actually seen this working? Needless to say, mine doesn't and I can't find any reference to it in the owner's manual. It's either turned off or not there at all. Is there anyway to change the color of the blue ambient lighting in the MZ3? I've tried looking and testing things out but no luck.

I have some ambient lighting in my car, not as intense as cobrahunters (mine is purple/uv also). It's very subtle, i'll get some pics. LEDs are your best friend, check out superbrightleds.com they have all kinds of crap. Also some wire, solder, and a soldering iron!
