Dell PSU problem - steady amber light

First time to post on the forum. Dell 3100/e310 I upgraded RAM using: PNY - 2-Pack 1GB PC2-5300 DDR2 Memory I now get no post, just steady amber light on power button. Fan seems to be on high. All diagnostic lights green and stay lit. Reverting back to original memory gets same result. Could installation of memory cause a psu problem?

vostro 200 slimline amber light

The amber light on the above listed PC is steady. I took it to Best Buy and they hooked up a different power supply and it fired up. So I ordered a new power supply installed. No Fix. When I press the power button on the front all I hear is a faint breif scratching sound. A light on the board inside stays on. What gives?

hi all Ive got a 1.8 freelander and the hdc amber light keeps comming on when I set off in 1st. wont come on in reverse light stays green also tc works put foot down off road set off fine and abs ok too also tried bumping down hill in second to see if it is something to do with 1st gear amber light still comes on help !!!

Ps3help needed.. amber light cums on then flashing red light
