I have several hundred windows xp clients running both altiris client and altiris agent. None of the users have administrative priv but I noticed that any user can exit the agents. How do I prevent this? Thanks. Mark

Hi, We use Altiris NS 6.0, we just created a trust domain. I can push Altiris agent to the machines on the trust domain, but I failed to sheduled push Altiris NS agent to trust domain machines. I got the error "no network provider accepted the given network path". It seems altiris use the machine name instead of FQDN. Is there someone have idea to resolve it? Thanks

Dear all, Why are PCs retired in Reporting NS? There are no options set up for retiring the PCs in the Altiris console. Which tasks or schedules have the PCs set to retire? Hi, I think the situation did not improved. The server still runs until out of memory and the unable to service the agent. I can see the service is memory consumption is running higher and higher and there is CPU usage as well but there is nothing that comes out in the Altiris logs and no scheduled task is running at the same time. In this situation, putting an Altiris PXE server will only cause headaches -there is no mechanism in the PXE protocol to dynamically allow you switch between PXE servers.
