I have an aloe vera which I take outside for summer and back inside for winter. I went away unexpectedly and my potted aloe vera froze while I was gone. Totally my fault, as the weather had been warm (for NY) and I forgot to bring it in for the winter before I left. We probably had 3-4 days below freezing while I was gone. I've been using PB shakes for colon cleansing and while they work great I am getting constipated. I read that using Aloe Vera Juice was great for constipation and that it was also good for leaky gut. I also read that Slippery Elm Gruel is also great for Leaky Gut. Does anyone have any experience using either for Leaky Gut? They seem to do the same thing as far as healing the stomach ...

Hi guys! I'm new to the boards. I just started using the aloe vera plant gel, and I love it! But, I'm curious to see if others use another moisturizer on top. I have really dry/senstitive skin. I was planning to use the cranberry cream from Face Reality. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
Iv used Baba de caracol named moisturaizer now for ~4months. Mix of aloevera & snailmilk. Its awesome feeling, has not effected negatively at all yet. Its suppose to help get rid of the redmarks/scars as well as keep skin moist. I had a pot of three Aloe 'California' that froze last winter. Although I left the "dead" pot outside all winter, this spring one of the roots sent up a new shoot! I couldn't believe it. As Pirate Girl says, set it aside somewhere, no water, and see what happens. You might be surprised. Josh

I have a hard time finding Aloe Vera Gel. My Wal-mart doesn't seem to have it (or hides it well). Only kind I see, is for the sun-burns and I wouldn't dare try those. I have found Jason's Aloe Vera Gel at Whole Foods but my transitioning hair is not a big fan of it. Maybe when I'm all natural.
