What allergens are out now? I have been driven crazy these last few days. We do heat with wood, but always have so I don't think that's it. Nothing's blooming. Ever heard of being allergic to the leaves on the ground? Can dry air mimic allergies? My nose is runny and my eyes dry.

My sister mentioned to me that she thinks my DS may be suffering from an allergy to our dogs. I don't have allergies so I have no idea what to look for (she has a million and one) and some of the isses that she thought might indicate one were: -DS is always congested at night (he has been for as long as I remember as well) - He looks like he has dark circles under his eyes all the time ...

Traveling with Food Allergies. Hi everyone! I'm just wondering if anyone has/ does travel with severe food allergies? I have before and I generally find it pretty tough at first, but I eventually get used to it. Anyone have any tips or suggestions?

My wife suffers from food allergies that seem to be getting worse and worse. It all started a few years ago when she was on antibiotics for an extended period of time and had developed just basic food allergies and has turned into quite the issue. She is basically limited to certain types of fish, certain types of rice, and very limited beef. She is pretty much allergic to everything else. ...

I got a little rescue of sorts at the end of October, and overall she has been doing well - but she has severe allergies. I've had her put on prescription hypo-allergenic cat food, and she's had a cortizone shot, which had produced improvement for about a week. The vet said to give her Benadryl if the allergy symptoms rise again. Well - yesterday I felt a bit sorry for her (she really ...

Hi, I was reading in the IC Optomist about how some people find relief through indentifying and eliminating food allergies. I thought about asking my doctor about seeing a specialist who might run some tests....anyone found that this has helped them? I find it really intriguing... Jill
