Hi Folks, so the much missed Belfast convention is back on the cards for 2010 and is set to run from Fri 19th - Sun 21st Feb. I will post more info as i recieve it but its looking to be a blast!

Father-in-law, a proud Cavan man, expressed an interest in seeing DVDs of the All-Ireland football finals of 1948 & 1952. RTE wasn't broadcasting TV in those days. These guys http://www.dvdsales.ie don't go back that far. I was thinking the matches may have been filmed for showing in cinemas or something - anyone have an idea whether DVDs might exist of same? Thanks for the welcome Always liked the atmosphere there for matches, hate the modern sports halls. Last tournament I was at had 16 courts and you feel lost playing in the big space. Thanks for the welcome
