So I just got to the 2nd floor of Fort Drakon. I selected Alistair and for first time in my playthrough, I heard him say "yeeeessssss?" Haahahaha perfect intonation too. Why doesn't he say that more often?

Ok so I passed the point where I can harden Alistair and did not do it. Is there a way either via a trainer of the tool set to correct that. The only save I have prior to this at the beginning of Ostagar.

I've been trying to romance Alistair but haven't been getting very many points for the options in the first dialogue in camp I've been picking. Apparently you can start a romance with hm first time you're in camp? If so, can someone list the best options for romancing him?

But for someone who's got the most armor one, he seems to die in about four hits. Mean while, my mages in cloth and little armor get by without a scratch. My character is already a "tank" Sword and Shield Dwarf warrior. I set him up this way from the very beginning and then Mr. Alistair joins who seems to be built with the same kind of function in mind. I haven't leveled him yet, but is there another way to build him so I don't have a redundant teammate?
