I'm doing a painting, and it's going to have Alice and Lewis Carroll, and they will be in a rowboat in a calm river. Alice is going to look like the illustrations from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Now, I know I am going to have a realistic painting, and I want to bring in the story book version somehow. gonk My teacher told me about an artist who did a print similar to my idea, but...

Anyone else excited about this?!?! I haven't read much from Dynamite (the Highlander limited series, *cough*RedSonja*cough*) but a friend of mine likes their literary adaptations. Not entirely unrelated, I tried to read the Return to Wonderland series from Zenescope but thought...it was a little much?

Alice in Wonderland Costumer Colleen Atwood: 'It's Going To Be Amazing' Think of the look of any Johnny Depp character from the Tim Burton universe - from Edward Scissorhands' bondage buckles to Ed Wood's angora sweaters to the breeches and waistcoasts of Sleepy Hollow 's Ichabod Crane - and Colleen Atwood was the woman who envisioned and executed it. One of the most sought-after and ...

Saw it last night and its quite good. Far darker than I expected too. The visuals are amazing and Carrey and his support also very, very good. But the highlight was seeing the Avatar trailer in 3D for the first time. I literally wanted to jump up and cheer at the end of it. It already looked amazing in 2D but having seen it in 3D it blew me away. Only 3 weeks to go. PS Also saw the ...

I think people just want everything to be dark. Alice was a lot of things: quirky, clever, whimsical, strange, funny, but not really dark. Does everything have to be dark for people to enjoy it these days?

I'm having a Sweet 16 in June for my sister. Her theme is Alice in Wonderland. She attends a Fashion High School, so she is putting together a fashion show with each person dressed in her interpretation of each character from the story. I've searched online for Alice in Wonderland makeup. Most are based on the new movie coming out, which is not really what I'm looking for, the rest are kinda ...

Just as writer-director Nick Willing completely turned The Wizard of Oz on its ear with the Syfy's Tin Man , he's up to the same trick with Alice's Adventures in Wonderland , reinventing it as an upcoming modern-day, off-the-wall four-hour Syfy movie entitled Alice . The biggest change? Alice isn't a little girl anymore, but rather a 20-something with daddy issues and commitment problems....

I'm looking forward to this, it looks awesome. It takes place years after Alice Through the Looking Glass - she's at least 16 in this movie I think, and she would have been no older than 10 in the former? Either way, it looks awesome. I'm hoping that Burton will make it appropriately dark, but I don't see why he wouldn't, being Burton (and looking at movies like Sweeney Todd and Charlie and the ...
