Having a "Most played" option in the drop down menu would be extremely useful for dj's like myself that play a lot of different type gigs, i do dnb nights, 80's, chart, rock, dance etc. Having a most played option would put all the most popular tunes at the top of each crate when clicked, of course this can be done manually in a roundabout way, but i think this could be one of the most useful...

Hi, I am trying to integrate the VLC (currently using 1.0.3 build) into a Visual Studio 2008 .NET WinForm app. Is there any way to get the track name, Album name and Artist name of an audio or video file while playing it. Thanks

I think I understand how to tag with mp3tag. The Various Artist logic in Squeezeserver blows my mind. If I have albums with multiple artist tags I allways use the Album Artist tag. either tag it as "VA" or the main artist for that album. I would expect every album to appear under the corresponding Artist name or under VA. The server puts some albums in the Various Artists category, I cant ...

When I am looking in Squeezebox Classic 3 and the web-interface I see only the name: Band for ID3v2 tagged files and the name Track Artist for "Flac" (Vorbis comments) tagged files. Is the name Album artist somewhere used in Squeezebox Server/interface of Squeezebox Classic ?

I noticed that the database did not have the artist "Tab & Anitek", and so I took it upon myself to input it into the system and post all of their albums. I put in one album, and another. Unfortunately, the second album I posted "Traveling in Stereo" showed up under "Tab & Anitek", and so the two albums are not from the same artist according to Sputnik. Some of my albums include collaboration songs and the Artist field for them is not the same as the Artist name. For example: "Artist feat. OtherArtist" . What you think was the best album released by a veteran recording artist this decade? My pick would be Bob Dylan's "Love and Theft". I also think that Bruce Springsteen, U2, Tom Petty, and Paul McCartney released some good albums as well.
