This has got to be one of the better pieces I have read on the subject. Richard S. Lindzen: The Climate Science Isn't Settled - WSJ.com Quote: Is there a reason to be alarmed by the prospect of global warming? Consider that the measurement used, the globally averaged temperature anomaly (GATA), is always changing. Sometimes it goes up, sometimes down, and occasionallysuch as ...

So little Reno is coming up on 5 months old in a bit more than a week's time. I posted down in training about the current issues we're working on right now (he's getting alarmed/concerned when he sees people on our walks. It's worse at night by far, and he gets woofy--not outright barks, more under the breath wuffs--and I lose his brain as he tries to visually track them). What I *think* ...

Before anyone gets alarmed, this isn't about my kiddos, it's about me. And not even a current me, but a much younger version! I have been having dreams lately about my uncle. I'll call him D. He wasn't my biological uncle, but rather married to my aunt - my mom's sister. As a kid my brother and I were both very close with our aunt and uncle. I even lived with them for awhile as a young ...

I have a system that is acquiring images every second. I've added an alarm related to these images, but I also want to display a freeze-frame of the alarmed image and save it as a .jpg. Haven't been able to save the images in .jpg format, only .png since the images are 16 bit. Why do I want .jpg? Because I don't need the high-res and large file size associated with .png format. ...
