For those of you who don't actually pay attention to the news , Al Queda has admitted to manufacturing the bomb that was used in an attempt to blow up an airliner over Detroit on Christmas . Obama finally issued a statement and he was obviously enraged . Good for him , it's about time . A few cruise missiles into Yemen would hit the spot right about now !

Another instance of attempted terrorism thwarted by alert passengers. Early indications are that the young man who attempted to ignite explosives was soundly thrashed by fellow passengers. A deranged individual or a real attempt; it will be interesting to watch. I was relieved to hear that president Obama took a break from his vacation in Hawaii for a briefing.....

We had an AWACS experience decompression. I was talking to them one moment and then nothing. I watched the symbol on the scope as the altitude dropped drastically every sweep....the pilot was taking them down to a good altitude and then brought the plane home.
