I really don't get how people can watch the trailer for Avatar and still think its somehow related to The Last Airbender. The word Avatar existed way before that show. And their obviously not related at all.

While seeing a movie over the summer I believe, I saw a preview for Avatar and they showed the boy with the marking on his head just like in the Nickelodeon show. Now I havent seen that preview again and I'm seeing this instead. Is this the same movie? ***A + J*** 7-15-08

Despite being older than the TV show's target audience (I'm 15), I really enjoyed it. Sure, there were a a few (ok, a lot) boring or immature filler episodes, but the overall plot and setting behind it were really interesting and thought-provoking as the story darkened. Hopefully they don't try to fit too much into the movie and make it turn out rushed.

Avatar the Last Airbender. Idea One: They're allies of the Gaang and fall into Appa. Right before they get into the North Water Tribe. Idea Two: The Turtles replace the Gaang(except for Aang) but Master Splinter replaces Iroh. Everyone else does not notice Master Splinter is a giant rat, but notices the Turtles are...walking turtles.
