I have a computer which has no internet, but is on a lan. So, I thought I'd use the mercury aircard for internet... problem is that it conflicts with my LAN (basically disabling it) so that I can't print. Is there a way around this?

I had to have my hard drive reinstalled and after I did I could no longer use my wireless verizon aircard. It's a USB727 and I tried reinstalling everything. I have a Sierra Aircard 595U and pathetically low signal where I live. When I am somewhere with great cellular signal, the card is fast and can stream video with no trouble. Depends what you are downloading. In the software that is used to use the data card there is a way to look up your total usage and as long as you keep it under 5 gb a month you won't be hit with any overages.

12/27, I have to work a night shift. anybody wanna play some TF2? if you have a preffered 24/7 sever that would be best. Ill be playing via my aircard and laptop, so i wont have the best settings.

Does Apple have the ability to install and Aircard in the notebook before it ships that will allow me to pick a data plan from other providers and connect it with the card that i installed in the MBP? I doubt it but I want to be sure. If not, any recommendations on the next best way to have mobile broadband on my notebook and not on my cell phone? I am replacing a 3+ y/o MBP 15"...

I'm using T400 with Windows 7 Pro(x86). I've just install Sierra Wireless Watcher for my Sierra AirCard 881 PCMCIA. After I install it TVAC freeze immediately then it continue freeze randomly.
