Air Show - Topic profile

Hello everyone. I was recently out at Miramar Marine Air Station in San Diego for the huge Air Show and have a few to share. These are resized however the original size is awesome because when you zoom in you can see a clear helmet and mask. I went to the MCAS Miramar Air Show (the former location of the Navy's Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun)) this weekend and got some great shots of a lot of incredible aircraft. My personal favorite was the F-22 demonstration, it is a truly amazing aircraft and it is extremely impressive to see in person. The US Army Golden Knights: F-18F: F-18F and F4U-4 Heritage ...

My favourite out of the bunch is the F22 pulled up in front of the sun with the water vapour almost making a rainbow. Nice bunch of photos. I always enjoy watching jets parade with a warbird (poor things have to limp along to keep pace with the old bird).

It was a great show, and the Raptor was showing off some cool stuff. I love Miramar, there is a lot more moisture in the air than anywhere else.

great pics mate. the pics never do them justice of how big they are. the C17 is massive - my mate works at amberly RAAF base and he tells me they can fit 2 semi trailers side by side in the back of it.

The Blues are in my first editing bracket for today I seriously wished that guy next to me would have fallen down the whole flight of grandstand stairs though I'm going to have to put some music in on some of these to bleed that ahole out of them

Looks like your show kicked a$$! Ours basically sucked. They had one warbird on the tarmac with the wings folded so you couldn't even see it. Most of the jet aircraft were fenced off so you couldn't even see them. The F18 demos rocked but the Canadian Snowbirds never showed. I haven't seen them since the 80's. Most of the display stuff was civilian but one cessna is pretty much like all cessna's...
