Does anyone use air tools on a regular basis at home? I've got a compressor at the moment that I've borrowed from a mate for something else but having watched "a car is reborn" I've got a sudden urge to get an air ratchet. Are they really any good? I'd also like to know whether you can use a compressor to "feed" a couple of gas cylinders to act as a larger storage vessel?...

Just wanted to share a little tip to help remove the flywheel nut and eshaft bolt. We all know what a pain they can be to remove. The engine pictured below was giving me fits, so I drove it out a mazda repair shop to try and get them to remove the bolt/nut. They had no luck even using their biggest air gun which was pretty damn big. I did this all on the engine ...

Looking to buy an impact wrench, ratchet and die grinder. I don't need the $500 professional level tools, but I do want to get something better than the Harbor Freight special. Any recommendations for middle of the road tools? Also, in addition to those tools, what do folks recommend for a beginning toolkit. I have a 16 CFM at 90 PSI compressor.

I'm looking for feedback from anyone that has used them. I;m about to try the angle die grinder, but I dont want to waste money if its gonna stall as soon as i put pressure on it. Even if its only $20. Thats $20 I could put towards an IR or something I know is gonna be good. Thanks http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=93 157

I swapped bodies using a 1.5hp with a 3gal tank. Its just a patience thing. BTW the sander and Die grinder will be almost useless on a compressor this small. Picked up a 5.5hp 35gal Craftsman on CL for $150 since. Wow what a difference! Used it like twice since. Just the way that goes i suppose...
