I took out my spark plugs today from my 2nd hand 10,000 mile k4 GSXR 600...just for routine maintenance.. I inspected them for wear and though the gap is still ok, the burn was a bit worrying to me. The colour was a slightly white and the finish was almost gloss. There was absolutely no carbon soot whatsoever and no brown colour.To me this means that the engine is running slightly lean...on ...

A PO decided that chrome was the way to go, and I'd like to return to stock. Unless somebody thinks I can powdercoat this thing, I need to buy or trade for one that fits on my Webers. Prefer something reasonably nice. Thanks for checking your parts bins.

I just picked one up off ebay to put on my 65 custom 500 daily driver and I have a question about the heat tube that comes off the manifold,I presume they had the shorty headers and did they have a heat shield to attach the tube and did they have tubes going to both snorkles or just one. I've seen an air cleaner on here somewhere that had a center plenum and two rectangular air filters, one on each side. Anyone help me out finding it? Never mind, found it.

Ok, I got my new PC-V in today along with my SE kit for my 09 Heritage. I started on the air cleaner and the old one came off fine. I mounted the new back plate and air filter no problem. The kit from HD has you use your cover and center screw. No matter how I try the screw is not long enought as the cover is 1/4 from touching new filter. I guess I can go to HD and ask for a longer screw ...

This is a very old air cleaner for multi carbs, has bases for 5 1/8 neck carbs, distance between holes is 7 1/2" has afx casted on inside this is an old sand casted piece, thick and heavy SOLD TO kulorguy

Not sure but I do know they run better when the intake is not sucking hot air from the radiator. I run a fresh air intake to the back of my cowl. Until I did I had pinging issues in the summer with premium fuel and a/c on.
