Remove all Advertisements Just picked up an 06 WR450. It appears that the snorkel has been removed, if that is what was in the hole looking straight down at it. Without seeing a stock 06 airbox, I don't know if anything else needs to be cut out. Any pics of a stock airbox on an 06 before the cutting? Search didn't produce much. Thanks

Well, I finally got up the courage to fix the long term oil leaks on my '78 SC and took the entire CIS system out and apart. Everything is back together now and with the new gaskets came the new injectors, vacuum hoses and gaskets for the CIS system. Now the problem(s). There is a small plastic hose stub pointing straight down about in the middle of the air box that I don't recall a hose...

I installed a K&N CAi on my 09 RT with R&T and the stock air intake had an extra "box" attached to it just before the air tube goes into the intake. If looking at the car with the hood open, the extra air box is to the left of the intake, whereas the usual air box is off to the right. I noticed yesterday that there is a hole right next to the drain on the bottom of my breather. Just to the left. Even better I notice that air pushes out of it when the engine is running. installing a bdx air box on a crossfire 600, sled is running rich already should i have to invest in a fuel controller, have not run it yet in the cold to see if its gonna lean out. also gonna install a 1.5 offset timing key

I was pulling out my air filter on my 05 and I accidentally dropped one of the screws into the intake box and I cannot find it. Any advice on how should I go about trying to get this screw out?
