I think that it is quite interesting, his childhood sucked, but I'm sure that if he had gotten into the art school that he wanted to, and if his father had supported him more, then he wouldn't have been quite as fucked up.

i'm calling bullshit on a lot of this. yes indeed, the SS had a Norwegian division, but that was well after 1938 and it was out of necessity for more manpower, not because they'd suddenly changed their minds about things. allowing Nordics to join the SS is hardly the same as allowing black or Jewish people to join up.
