I don't know what started this, but Safari and Adium won't be able to be run together. This started a few days ago. If I have Adium (my version is 1.4b17) already running, and then open Safari, within minutes it will freeze the entire system, and give me the spinning ball. The same happens if I try it in the opposite order (Safari then Adium). Interestingly enough it freezes ...

My Adium was working fine yesterday, I quit out of it for about an hour. Opened it up again and it would connect to my Gtalk account but my AIM account said "connection refused". I tried to connect in iChat and I get the same problem. I tried trashing the prefs file with no luck and even deleted Adium completely and re installed with no luck..This is on my Mac: OS X 10.5.8 2 x 2.8 GHz Quad-...

Hi all Yesterday I updated my leopard server to snow leopard server... Everything is working except ichat authentication.... Now I can connect to my iChat server with Adium client but not with iChat client... The DNS is ok and inside my Lan if i use the FQDN as server info in my ichat client preferences they work... but outside my Lan i have to use Adium!!!?? I saw by ...

My buddies aren't showing up in the buddy list window, and the application won't even let me add any new ones (when I try, they don't show up either). The weird thing is that I tried both the regular AIM client and Adium as well, and had the same problem. For what it's worth, all my other preferences seem to be fine and intact. WTF is going on?

Het probleem ligt waarschijnlijk - voor zover ik lees op fora - wel degelijk bij een protocol dat Microsoft heeft veranderd, want allerlei andere MSN-programma's (behalve waarschijnlijk de officiële versie van Microsoft, dat weet ik niet zeker) vertoont hetzelfde probleem.
