I am in the Army and stationed overseas so I cannot go to a local community college and do classes there, so I have to do online. I want to start my degree in nursing so I can eventually apply to the AECP program. I would really appreciate some answers, my ed center is completely useless and nobody in my unit is any help either. Thank you very much.

Well, my original ship date was December 14 and I had an artillery contract up until a few weeks ago when I found out that I was moved up to the 1st. I lost the job because, as the recruiter put it, I was put in a new period and my job could not carry over. He has been trying to get me an artillery contract for active duty, but was unable to. I took my IST today and after it he told me that he...

A little late, but a big thanks to all our military and LE for doing what they do. There's a few guys that I'm a little extra thankful for. They picked up the slack so I could be home for Thanksgiving. I'm repaying the favor on New Year's.

I am so jealous of your move to Pease. I grew up in Kittery and would love to get one of those assignments to Pease as part of the Total Force Initiative. Instead, I'm soaking up all that wonderful Minot AFB, ND has to offer, which aint much compared to the seacoast of NH. Pease has come a long way since the active duty side closed. I've been in many of the ANG maintenance facilities and ...
