Hi, I am not able to download any pdf file from Internet. I have Acrobat proff 6 & reader 9.0 too. It always dispaly following message:- The Adobe Acrobat/reader running can not be used to view pdf files on web browser. Use acrobat 8 or 9. Exit & try again.

Hi all together   I have big Problem. I have a SWF File wich contains some Files in some Subfolder ( Scripts, Images ...) When i play the File without embeding in my PDF, the file works fine. When I open Acrobat, it opens every file on my machine (or at least until it reaches the limit of how many it can open.) Any suggestions on how to fix this?   Acrobat CS4 Mac Pro / Snow Leopard   Thanks! Matt

Hi,   I generated a PDF 1.3 file, which opens ok in other readers (foxit reader, ghostview), but Acrobat Reader 8 doesn't display all of it. Also it doesn't redraw after scrolling, so it looks like the rendering process crashes midway. Here is the problematic file: http://www.woutware.com/download/pdf_problem.pdf (attached as well). Hey, I've got Acrobat Distiller but I need to know how to transfer the presets I have to another computer. Does anyone know where Distiller keeps the file that stores the settings? is it a plist?

I have Acrobat proff 6 & reader 9.0 too. That is the problem. Uninstall Acrobat or Reader and repair the installation of the other.

Right - this is not a Corporate PC so I did not think that this was the problem but I went looking and found some odd things to do with permissions and associations with the User defined to Vista.  This user runs with Administration rights but it looks like Adobe Acrobat permissions vary.  However I tried running the Browsers under administrator rights and adobe too but this did not work ...

You don't mention what OS. I'd try clearing the user system caches with a tool like Applejack or Onyx.

Hi,   When exporting to PS from Acrobat GUI I have a "Font inclusion: Embedded and referenced" property. Can this be done via JS API? I've searched the scripting reference and JS scripting guides with no luck. It seems that once a document is edited in Livecycle, it always opens livecycle but when a document is first created it goes through adobe acrobat. How do I edit a document that was edited in livecylce in acrobat instead?   Is that even possible?   Please let me know. Thanks.   Joyce
