I just bought a used version of Adobe Acrobat 7 Macintosh. It's supposed to work with OS X, but it doesn't load . I keep getting the error message "Adobe Acrobat could not install correctly. Adobe Acrobat was unable to install and must quit." The OS version I have is 10.5.8. Is there a compatibility issue with my OS version and Acrobat 7? If not, how can I install it?

Using the full version of Adobe 7, when I selected multiple pdfs in windows explorer and right clicked, a "combine in adobe acrobat" function would appear in the context menu. I just tried out the trial version of Adobe 9 and have now uninstalled it, but this functionality has disappeared. Is there a way to restore this option in the right click context menu?

This doesn't help me as when i open another docuement the pages dialog box opens in the next docuement and I am trying to integrate pages between the two doc and that is why i would like the ...
I have made my own form using acrobat 7 (my operating system is vista.) It is a complex reporting system about 44 pages long. There are 15 or so text fields on the bottom of some pages for comments. I would like to auto fill into a summary all of my text field (comments) notes. Is there a way to do this? Is there a way to auto add text streams (values of text fields) together. Anyone know of...

I bought Acrobat 9 a while back and tried to install it. It starts and a message pops up that it needs to uninstall Acrobat 7 which it starts doing but fails. When I tired again it then says “can’t uninstall v9”. I gave up since v7 was still running. Now Acrobat 7 isn’t running at all. I tried to uninstall v7 from Control panel and got this error message, “The ...

I have a 17 page, heavy graphics Quark 7 file that when converted to PDF is *still* too large. It needs to be emailable to clients. I've tried reducing the image dpi & physical image size, so they're smaller and I've reduced the PDF file size in Acrobat 6, but it's *still* too large. How can I make this PDF file size as small as possible while retaining the graphic image quality so that it...

To read the credit card statement, why not download Reader 9.2 and see if you can read the statement. Then come back and deal with the Acrobat issue. We have no idea what your problem is with AA9 and you have not really said except it won't install. Wasn't there a message or such? X86 systems were supported with AA8.x -- one of the later versions. Win 7 supposedly needs AA9. Do not expect ...

Just download the trial from the adobe site. The trial is the full version which you need to register. If version 7 is old, I'm sure adobe has an archive somewhere.
