Hi all, I'm trying to build a system which involves User-groups like Admin, Mod, Active member, Member in queue, Guest etc. My user table has two fields namely user_type_id and user_status to differentiate among themselves. Thus it's not an issue to allow/block certain pages to a group, but I need to give different access rights in a single page for these groups (eg: show/hide a...

I have searched and searched and it seems most people who see this error are trying to upload various amounts of data. In our case, I have a user who is attempting to use the Connect to Outlook tool to add an email with an .xls attachment to a Contact she does not own, but has full read/write sharing permissions and has a role that allows her to see and work with this Contact. Pop ...

Hi all, I have a strange issue at a HFM 9.2.0.3 customer using Smartview (also 9.2.0.3). When this user logs on to Smartview an error message "You do not have the proper access rights to perform this task" appears. However, if the administrator then logs in, logs off again and the user logs in again, everything works fine. Somehow, some information after ...

Hello everybody, I have a little problem. Does anyone know if it's possible to limit the access of an object to claer a suspect link? The background is that we have specific responsibilities (e.g. test department) for each requirement. But there are other users who can edit the object. Now I would like to know whether it is possible to keep the RM rights for the objects, but ...

I'm currently using IIS v5.1 in an intranet environment. I'm a normal user. But trying to access files from the IIS -> default web site folder of a Server. I cannot see anything under the default web sites folder of my IIS even though the IT Personnel has allowed permission for my computer. Is there anything I missed out?

There are many reports of people enabling virtualization in the bios but it doesn't really "stick" in the enabled state. Some people report that they have to turn off or unplug the machine to make sure the changes stick. Also, once it is set, it can become unset on some machines after resuming from hibernation. In those cases, the bios is faulty and the resolution is to get an updated bios that...
