Accelerometer - Topic profile

Hi, I have a problem with my Black 16G iPhone's accelerometer sensor. For some reasons it always wants to go into landscape mode whenever I open Safari or the Calculator app; and then it just stays in that mode even if I try to return the phone to its upright vertical position. It will only return to normal when the phone is actually upside down! What is wrong...

For fun I'm going to be building a bicycle computer that does a bit more then my current one. One of the things I'd like to know is my speed and angle (uphill/downhill). Hi everyone, just got my N82 yesterday. I've installed Python S60 3de and now I'n downloading some Accelerometer apps and games. Installed it with nokia PC Suite to mem card, but Python to phone mem. So far I haven't been abled to get one to work!!!! So... is there something I'm missing or am I just a idiot???? PLEASE HELP ME!!!

is it possible? sometimes it's too annoying especially when you're browsing the website while lying down and you don't want to view it in landscape mode. is there such thing? help thanks

Thats because unlike some countries eg.) Australia, UK and US, apple is owned by a 3rd party so servicing of the iphone can only be done by the carrier u buy from. In AU, u can easily bring in your iphone to apple and regardless of where u bought it from and get it serviced (as long as its on warranty)

It's only 12 bucks, so I'd say it's worth it. Now, the question is, is my 6.5 second 0-60 time due to poor driving skills or am I not making all 395HP or not getting it all to the ground? My guess would be a combination of the three.... Last edited by mooch; 1st September 2008 at 19:51 .

Only this switch to the landscape mode doesn't work while walking. That may be on purpose. If the phone is bouncing around, it isn't sure you really want to rotate the picture.  

In that case, you'll need to visit an Apple Store or call AppleCare for a replacement. There have been similar reports in these forums, and that was the reported "fix" (you're right, it's a bit of a waste).  

It is better to install pyMegaModulePack to be sure he has the most common modules... Take a look at the threads and you will find links and info!
