Well, I've been raising my Absol for a while, but I've been torn between going with a Physical Moveset or a Special one. Note that I have a Perish Torc, so perhaps I can do somehing Calm Mind-based if I go Special. So far, Absol looks like this: Absol (Level 36) Zen Headbutt (meh) Swords Dance Bite Magic Coat Should I go for something like this: Calm Mind(?) Blizzard Dark Pulse Thunderbolt/...

I still prefer Alakazam to Hypno, but that is just me. (I also don't like Drowsee and Hypno's pics ) I should probably mention that Kadabra has Modest Nature while Absol has some nature that raises defense over SP defense. So Absol naturally has higher Attack than Kadabra has Sp. Attack.

I'll test him out on shoddy and see what results come up with. My plan isn't to have Absol stand up and fight through things, it's switch in on psychic, Sucker Punch/ Pursuit, and if he's against something he can't handle, Mean look, Baton pass. He should be able to survive.
