Note to BG: I am NOT looking for medical advice just other peoples experiences. Has anyone else had a tooth abscess still there 2 weeks later? It's behind my front teeth and goes to the centre of the roof of my mouth, it was at its largest, 6 teeth wide and the size of a walnut shell but is now down to 4 teeth wide and more like a quality street toffee size, not that I eat those these...

I have a two year old orange tabby. The other night I noticed a sore lump on his hind quarters. Luckily I found it before it ruptured. Having some previous experience in treating an abscess, I removed the scab and have been squeezing out the puss every three/four hours. I noticed the last time I did this, it is no longer a white puss anymore, but a clear liquid. I have no idea what this means or ...

Has anybody ever had an abscess in their pelvic, anal or groin area that has sent a dull pain all the way down your leg? I just had surgery to repair a rectovaginal fistula with two extending abscesses. Now I think I may have an additional abscess, but I'm not sure. I am not passing gas or stool anymore, so I think that the original fistula tract is closed off from the surgery, but ...

I had a bone graft 2 1/2 weeks ago. I developed an abscess and have been on antibiotics for several days. How long will it take for the taste and odor and pain to go away? Is it common to have an abscess after a graft? Does it have anything to do with the cadaver bone that was used? Thank you. Answer Jeannie - What you are going through is very bad. The graft needs to be removed ...

This is part of the information I've received in a copy of a letter to my Doctor. I think it means that on one of the resections carried out earlier this year, on the join, I have, well I know what an abcess is and I know what an ulcer is, so would this be deep ulcers? Can anyone help translate the above to something a little more meaningful, apart from the fact that it hurts!!!!!!

He's been sore on his front feet for a couple weeks now. At first we thought it was a hoof abscess, and treated it as such. He started to get better, then stopped getting better, but didn't get worse. Then he started to get worse, he was moved to the barn where the footing was softer, and the farrier took a look at him. Farrier said he had thin soles, and put shoes on him (he's never had or ...
