using serato, and ableton at the same time during my set so i'm still an ableton newbie.. but i've got serato down. and i've got two computers. last nights set was tight. i was running ableton on my macbook thru the aux-in input on my ns7 and i was running serato itch on my other mac.. great way to use them both!

Ok a little bit left field I guess. I have an old Final Scratch 1.1 scratch amp laying around and I was wondering if I could use that as a audio interface to be able to use my mixer to control ableton. If I'm totally off base on this I'm sorry, just trying to make use of some of the stuff laying about.

I want to buy an Ableton Live Suite 8 for professional sound mixing. Before this I was using an older version of the same suite. Now before an upgrade I need some information on what features and supports are added in this new suite. After installing how the performance of this suite and does is it really gives out a better output than older version or just some additional support.
